Mountain Arts Center
Not only is the MAC one of the most dynamic music venues in eastern Kentucky, it also provides a wide variety of multipurpose rooms available to rent for your next business meeting, seminar, catered party or reception. These spaces include:
Theater: The theater seats up to 1,044 people in an environment enhanced by natural rock walls, reflecting the region’s natural beauty. The lower section of the theater can accommodate 469 guests and 575 guests in the upper section. Its state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems, along with the center’s video conferencing capabilities, allows for virtually any gathering for you and your organization.
Lobby: The Marvin Music Lobby features a large open reception area complete with an art gallery that can accommodate up to 150 people depending on set-up requirements. Let your guests explore the Ranier Racing Museum and the Coal Miner’s Exhibit while they mix and mingle. In the past, this space has been used for catered meals, weddings, private entertainment events, and community functions.
Band room: This 60-by-35-foot multipurpose room (2,100 square feet) will seat 100 individuals at tables and 120 individuals in classroom style seating.
Private instruction rooms: There are four rooms designed for private instruction within the larger band room. They can be used by instructors to offer private musical instruction to students, including voice, piano, guitar, violin, etc.
Choral room: With seating for up to 36 individuals at tables and up to 40 individuals in classroom style seating, the 30-by-50-foot choral room (1,050 square feet) is ideal for smaller group meetings, presentations and seminars.
Backstage: There are a total of three dressing rooms, one of which has a private restroom. Two additional restrooms are available to performers as well. In this area, there is direct access to the stage without entering public areas.

Jenny Wiley State Resort Park
Jenny Wiley State Resort Park has seven meeting rooms that can hold a party as small as 10 people or an expo group of 800. The conference center has a pre-meeting area for registration or casual receptions; the larger meeting room can accommodate conference groups. Two smaller rooms off the lobby are the perfect size for a board meeting or department event, and there is also a meeting room conveniently located off the main dining room. Full-service catering with a bar is available.

East Kentucky Science Center
East Kentucky Science Center features rental options for meetings, groups and birthday celebrations. The classroom is available for a variety of educational programs. It features seating for up to 40 people while the planetarium can seat up to 85 people with an array of different laser shows from which to choose.

Quality Inn
Quality Inn features 80 hotel rooms, a bar and dining area. Meeting facilities can split into three different sections, each being able to seat 50 people banquet style. Alternatively, all three sections can open up to form one large space for meetings and receptions seating up to 150 people banquet and 250 people lecture-style. Quality Inn is capable of catering wedding reception and event rental needs with access to a spacious kitchen.
